Main Responsibilities

• Senior Product Designer will work on as part of Wise’s global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system.
• How do you take a complex, stressful experience and make it simple, calming even.
• Here’s how you’ll contribute: Get to know our customers, building empathy and a deep understanding of their needs.
• Use your expertise to discover, design and deliver simple, beautifully crafted, intuitive experiences that customers love Influence teams and stakeholders to increase customer-centeredness, creativity, and content quality across the squad.
• Champion the Wise brand and its carefully considered implementation.
• Work with designers from other squads to build a single, seamless experience for customers.
• Deliver impact and ship work you’re proud of.
• Own projects from end-to-end.
• Define what great experiences looks like, then help deliver it.
• Work at across a range of product types from 0-1 all the way to core features.
• Be part of a positive change in the world.

Skills & Experience

• About you: Accomplished Senior Product Designer with experience shipping world-class consumer products.
• Hands on experience delivering creative and product content in fast paced, engineering-led environments.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• You’re comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity — and can successfully collaborate in this environment.
• Familiarity with design processes and experience validating how design solves real customer problems.
• Exceptional design craft and a desire for quality Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Heads up, this probably isn’t for you if: Your experience is mostly in marketing, advertising, or social media – and you have no hands-on experience of product design or UX.
